Dechra Veterinary Products sponsored the BVNA Northern Ireland CPD Meeting Anaesthesia in the Feline Thoracic Patient on 28 July 2011. The meeting, held at Veterinary Surgeons Supply Company, Lisburn, was attended by 28 veterinary nurses and two vets.
Paul Crawford BVetMed CertVA MRCVS gave an informative lecture on all aspects of anaesthesia in the Feline Thoracic patient, giving delegates many useful hints and tips to take back to practice. Having worked in a number of practices specialising in the field of anaesthesia and critical care, Paul now works as a general first opinion locum and offers an anaesthesia consultancy service. He is a regular contributor to CPD events for vets and veterinary nurses and tutors on the RVC’s Nursing Diploma Programme.
Paula Quinn, BVNA Regional Co-ordinator Northern Ireland, organised the meeting and says of the evening: ”BVNA NI region held another very successful CPD evening recently with the generous help and sponsorship of Dechra Veterinary Products.
On behalf of BVNA, I would like to thank Dechra for its ongoing support of BVNA in Northern Ireland. Without the help of companies like Dechra, such events for nurses would be impossible. Thanks also to VSSCO for the loan of their training room and of course to Paul Crawford for agreeing to speak for us.”
