Dechra Veterinary Products has awarded three prizes to Veterinary Science students at the University of Bristol, which were presented at a recent graduation ceremony held at the University.
There were two winners of the inaugural Dechra Dermatology Prize. The prize is awarded for the highest marks in a combination of the dermatology components within the written companion animal science exam and clinical rotations. The winners, Sarah Anne Brooks and Chloe Dennis, both receive a laptop.
The winner of the Dechra Elective Award was Sarah Harland, who received a cheque for £450. This prize is given to the final year student achieving the highest mark in the farm animal elective.
Susan Shaw, Senior Lecturer Dermatology and Applied Immunology at the University of Bristol says: “We are very grateful to Dechra for providing these prizes that recognise and reward the outstanding achievements of our veterinary students, who continue to excel.”
