National Veterinary Services Hosts Veterinary Karting Championship
National Veterinary Services (NVS), a trading division of Dechra Ltd, is organising a nationwide Veterinary Karting Championship for key veterinary personnel. The karting competition has been designed to build relationships and provide a novel networking opportunity for vets. NVS is the UK market leader in the supply of pharmaceuticals and added value services to the veterinary profession
NVS is organising the karting championship in conjunction with The British Schools Karting Championship (BSKC), the largest karting championship in the world. The championship is being sponsored by Agria Pet Insurance, Hill’s Pet Nutrition, Dechra Veterinary Products, Pfizer Animal Health and Novartis Animal Health.
Ten regional karting events will be held at various locations throughout the UK, commencing at the end of October. Forty competitors will participate in each regional event, the format of which will be a team endurance race. The top team from each regional event will be invited back to race in the Grand Final, which will take place at the Daytona circuit in Milton Keynes in March 2011. NVS and the event sponsors will then host an end of season champagne reception and prize giving evening in Birmingham on Friday 1 April 2011.
