Dechra helps raise £2,254 for Horses help Heroes
‘Party at the Pavilions’ was held in the grounds of the Dechra Veterinary Products’ Shrewsbury Office on 23rd June, a charity event in support of Horses help Heroes.
Raising a grand total of £2,254, the evening proved to be a resounding success. A coconut shy, toy rifle range and sweet stall provided a great source of entertainment for young and old alike as did the Dechra Donkey Derby.
Many Dechra employees volunteered their time to help plan the event and also manned the various stalls throughout the evening.
Dechra Veterinary Products’ Managing Director Bob Parmenter says of the evening, “It was delightful to see how the Dechra team worked together to create a thoroughly enjoyable event for such a worthy cause. The evening raised a total of £2,254 which is a fantastic achievement.”
Horses help Heroes is an endurance challenge to raise £1,000,000 by driving a horse-drawn WW1 ambulance 1,000 miles from Land’s End to John O’Groats. All money raised will provide support for wounded servicemen and woman and their families through the charity Help for Heroes.
