New woundcare article available online

As a veterinary professional you will appreciate the importance of the effective management of both traumatic and surgical wounds.

Advances in wound dressings permit the active management of wounds; encouraging cellular activity, collagen formation and the contraction process.

A recent article in Veterinary Practice highlights how advanced wound dressings were used to successfully manage multiple burns and abrasions. The article, written by Alison Moores, BVSc(Hons), CertSAS, DipECVS, MRCVS and European Specialist in Small Animal Surgery, is attached for your review.

Dechra Veterinary Products is committed to sharing the latest thinking on woundcare management with the veterinary profession and further Small Animal and Equine case studies can be viewed at www.dechra.co.uk/Therapy-Areas.

I trust that you will find this information to be of interest and if you require any additional information please do not hesitate to contact me at rachel.horton@dechra.com.
